Faculties Profile
Dr. Harpreet Kaur Garcha (Birth-17th Oct, 1960) is a Senior Asstt. Professor in English at Rajnandgaon Dist. Rajnandgaon (Chhattisgarh).
Her Research articles are published in reputed National and International Journals. Her areas of interest are: Feminism, Women Writers, Psychoanalysis and American Literature.
She has to her credit completion of UGC sponsored MRP Titled: Identifying Learning Disabilities and their Overcomes: With Special Reference to English Language Learners and Teachers of Govt. Colleges of Rajnandgaon District (C.G.) as Principal Investigator.
Prof. Garcha has been a Member of Board of Studies of University and Autonomous Colleges.
She has presented papers in National and International Seminars/Conferences and Workshops and also organized the same.
She has 32 years of teaching experience in Higher Education and also visited various Institutions for Expert Lectures and Resource Person and chaired Technical Sessions during National Seminars.
Beside teaching and research, she has served in NCC as an Associate NCC Officer for 19 Years with A Grade during both Pre-Commission and Refresher-Cum Promotion Courses at WOTS Gwalior.
She is also an active member of Organizations like AINET, ELT@I and INTACH.

कमला काॅलेज के अंग्रेजी विभाग द्वारा शैक्षणिक भ्रमण - जिला पुरातत्व संग्रहालय
राजनांदगांव: शासकीय कमलादेवी राठी स्नातकोत्तर महिला महाविद्यालय, राजनांदगांव में अंग्रेजी विभाग द्वारा स्नातक प्रथम वर्ष की छात्राओं को शैक्षणिक भ्रमण पर जिला ग्रंथालय ले जाया गया । प्रथम वर्ष की छात्राओं के पाठ्क्रम में 6 अध्याय कारनीय कला- संस्कृति पर आधारित हैं । अतः पठन-पाठन, अध्ययन को रूचिकर बानाने के लिए एवं छात्राओं को छ.ग. राज्य और भारतीय कला-संस्कृति से जोड़ने के लिए अंग्रेजी विभाग द्वारा प्रयास किया गया ।
इस भ्रमण के दौरान अंग्रेजी विभागाध्यक्ष डाॅ.हरप्रीत कौर गरचा सहा.प्राध्यापक, सुश्री सृष्टि शर्मा एवं स्नातक प्रथम वर्ष की सभी संकाय की छात्राएं उपस्थित रही ।
कमला काॅलेज में अंग्रेजी विभाग द्वारा तीन दिवसीय पी.एस.सी. कोचिंग
राजनांदगांव: शासकीय कमलादेवी राठी स्नातकोत्तर महिला महाविद्यालय, राजनांदगांव में अंग्रेजी विभाग द्वारा तीन दिवसीय अंग्रेजी भाषा पर विशेष कोचिंग की गई। शहर के प्रतिष्ठित तथागत ट्यूटोरियल की अंग्रेजी विशेषज्ञ सुश्री नुसरत ख्वाजा जी ने अंग्रेजी भाषा की बारिकियों एवं प्रतियोगी परीक्षाओं में आने वाले अंग्रेजी के महत्वपूर्ण प्रश्नों को सरलता से छात्राओं को समझाया एवं प्रश्नों को हल करने की टिप्स की जानकारियां भी दी । व्याकरण के साथ-साथ छात्राओं को अंग्रेजी भाषा को बोलने और उच्चारण की जानकारी दी । कार्यक्रम का मुख्य उद्देश्य छात्राओं को अंग्रेजी भाषा के भय को दूर करना एवं उनके आत्मविश्वास को बढ़ना हैं एवं विभिन्न परीक्षाओं में सफलता प्राप्त करना ।
कार्यक्रम महाविद्यालय की प्राचार्य डाॅ.(श्रीमती) सुमन सिंह बघेल जी के आर्शीवचन एवं अंग्रेजी विभागाध्यक्ष डाॅ.हरप्रीत कौर गरचा के सानिध्य में हुआ । कार्यक्रम का संचालन सहायक प्राध्यापिका सुश्री सृष्टि शर्मा में किया और कहा कि छात्राओं को अपना लक्ष्य निर्धारित कर दैनिक दिनचर्या में अंग्रेजी भाषा को अनिवार्यतः शामिल करने हेतु प्रेरित किया एवं साथ ही निरंतर अंग्रेजी भाषा का अभ्यास करते रहने से इसका प्रतिफल उन्हे विभिन्न प्रतियोगिताओं में उन्हे होने वाली कठिनाईयों का सामना नहीं करना पड़ेगा।
महाविद्यालय की समस्त स्नातक संकाय की छात्राओं ने बड़ी संख्या में भाग लिया एवं लाभान्वित हुई, और कहा कि इस तरह के कार्यक्रम से महाविद्यालय में होते रहने से अंग्रेजी सीखने की ललक बढ़ेगी ।
