Vision

The vision of the department of Mathematics is to generate skilled mathematical mind with all scientific aptitude of knowledge based society. We feel that it is  a continuous process to provide Mathematical application to not only pure and natural science but also to Commerce, Economics and  Social Sciences.


Mission

Our mission is –
    • To create undergraduate students with strong skills and knowledge of mathematics.
    • To create stakeholders with both basic and applied mathematical knowledge.
    • To generate interest among students for scientific validation of traditional Indian mathematical knowledge..
    • To generate interest for mathematical science among younger right from school level to research level

Bhaskar Library

A Very useful and effective Bhaskar Library , started in 09 September 2015 in the name of Gurudev  Swami Bhaskaranand Tirth ji Maharaj, is functioning in the department. The fund for this library is based on contribution of Dr. Omkar Lal Shrivastava. This library contains books of various interesting and important fields viz Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, General Studies, Mathematical Reasoning, Languages ,etc. .

We provide our personal books in this library to help girls.

Govt. of Chhattisgarh form 17/6/05 to 29/7/06. Due to myoutstanding works , I was  selected asState liaison officer, N. S. S. in Deptt. Of Higher Education , Govt .of Chhattisgarh by high level committeepresided by Additional Chief secretary of  C. G. Govt. and worked  from 14/07/2004 to 29/07/2006 as SLO NSS  and also declared as Deputy Secretary ofhigher education Deptt. By  G.A.D. on 16/06/2005and worked excellently.

5.         Assisted in the preparation of Red DataBook of Rare & endangered medicinal plants for UNDP prepared by FRLHTBanglore in Indian Institute of forest management, Bhopal.

6.         Delivered key note Address, Invited/lecture in Refresher course  International/national / Regional seminar/Workshops/Conferences  of Mathematics -6

7    Delivered many lectures  On cultivation of medicinal plants  and also organized workshops /seminar/Training for farmers/ women/NSS officers and Volunteers  .

                        8.         Done many social work and awareness programmerswith the help of NSS Volunteers.In madanpur villege of Chhindawara district. I with the help of NSS volunteersmotivated the people to demolish willingly the encroachment of 73 houses  them selves in 1996 and widened he narrow passage to 15 feet, while earlier abullock -cart could not pass through the village It motivated people of Dhavalpuralso to demolish their encroachments them selves. It was a unique work ofpublic awareness, mobilization and Involvement.

9.         Under my guidance, stop -dams, tardamsand permanent structures in       watershedmanagement were constructed by NSS volunteers, with the help of villager. inDhangaon, Beltikri, Buddhubhrad, Kohaka  Somni in Rajnandgaon. & Chargaon, Jaitpurkala, Dharamtekari in ChhindawaraDistrict, Dodakachaura of Jashpur District by Shramdan.

10.       Many villagers and NSS students plantedmedicinal plants and  Other plants undermy Guidance of about 45 villages.

11        Medicinal parks were constructed undermy Guidance in many schools & places colleges in the state.

12     Associated with Janbhagidari samiti ofDigvijay college from 2011,

15    Member of Governing Body of Sriram CollegeRajnandgaon

16   Served as HOD C.S. & I.T. and  coordinator of e-Classroom in 2007-2008session

17    Served as Joint publicity secretary of the Tensor Society of India,Lucknow  2009-2010

18    Doing effort to save the mother earth byawareness programmes by delivering lectures in Schools , colleges, socialmeetings, in villages (about180 Lectures delivered till date) between differentgroups of society and  through News papers , T.V. etc.

19         I am amember of executive Council of Vijnana Parishad of  India from 1 April 2014 to 31 March 2017. Now I am alsoselected member of executive Council of Vijnana Parishad of  India for next three years from 1 april 2017to 2020.
