Profile of the Department of Physics: In present eratechnology plays a vital role and it is very important to know how it works and what is the core of it and forthis we must know about science. In 1987 at Govt. Kamla Devi Rathi GirlsP. G. College Rajnandgaon department of physics was formally opened under Pt.Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur (CG) and which is now affiliated toHemchand Yadav University, Durg (CG) from academic session 2017-18.

� insufficientspace in laboratory is the major problem corresponding to the increasingstudents in Under Graduate Level.

� Thestudent entering the college are not well-versed the basic knowledge.

Student has access of the college library byitself only. There is no departmental library facility for undergraduatestudents.

� Overallimprovement of departmental infrastructure with well-equipped laboratory.
